Building on Preschool experiences
In the Reception classes, children build on their pre-school experiences and take part in a wide variety of activities inside and outside the classroom. Learning opportunities are planned around half-termly themes, with lots of practical experiences and provide a balance between teacher- and child-led activities. Visits and visitors help enrich the curriculum and parents are encouraged to play an active role in their child’s learning.
