At Cheddar First School and Preschool, developing language and oracy sits at the heart of our Curriculum. We will embed talk in all aspects of the school’s culture to empower pupils to better understand the world around them. Every child will access a rich menu of highly motivating and creative topics which will spark their imagination and inspire a love of learning. Our diverse and rich curriculum will promote a progressive knowledge base which will develop from Preschool up to year 4. Through meaningful links and real-life experiences, we will give our pupils the skills, knowledge and resilience to be lifelong learners and strong, confident speakers.
