Cheddar First School provides free hot school meals for Reception and KS1 children (Year 1 and Year 2). We can also provide a hot meal for Preschool and KS2 children (Years 3 and 4) for the cost of £2.30 and £2.50 per meal respectivly.

Cooked meals are available and are served in the hall, which is also where the majority of children eat their packed lunches. The children are supervised in the hall and in the playground by an experienced team of midday supervisors. Preschool children receive their meals at Preschool.

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are currently eligible for a free school meal. If you have an older child and you are in receipt of income support or job seeker’s allowance (income based), your child should be eligible for free school meals. Please contact a member of the office staff to make the necessary arrangements. All information will be treated in confidence.

All meals can be ordered through the ParentPay website which can be found here or by clicking the icon below. Parents need to be registered with ParentPay and are then able to order (and pay if applicable) school meals through their account. Login information is issued by the school and any queries should be directed to the school office. Please note that ordering Preschool meals is slightly different from ordering at the main school. Please see the document below for details.
